The sponsoring association of our school was founded over 20 years ago by some hardworking parents and teachers who, in addition to family and work, have made it their business to support the primary school not only through their energetic efforts but also financially. Often the pots of the municipalities are empty and only the private, financial subsidy gives the schools a little leeway and also the possibility of shaping the circumstances.

Through continuous membership fees, generous donations and self-initiated events, such as a sponsored run carried out by the students, the association tries to financially support the training time of the Odenkirchen children.

The school yard was given a new face in 2017. In the middle of the school yard, a large climbing spider - with the right surface, of course - ensures fun for breaks and a new projector gives the students the right perspective. With its help, the textbook pages can be projected directly onto the wall, documents can be enlarged and made visible for everyone, videos can be shown and researched together.

The association continuously subsidizes the annual school books, the traditional St. Martin's procession and the Christmas theater pieces, which are always a nice end to the year for the students.

In spring, the association subsidizes the traditional spring breakfast, which is intended to strengthen the feeling of togetherness at the Bell elementary school.
